<li>Pre-approval from the Board is required for testing. Every classification in Alabama requires pre-approval EXCEPT Homebuilder. This is done by submitting a completed application.</li>
<li>A General Contractors license is required at the state level for any commercial, industrial or institutional projects exceeding $50,000.00. A Homebuilder License is required for any residential project exceeding $10,000.00.</li>
<li>Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC and Gasfitter classifications are required to be licensed at the state level.</li>
