The requirements to qualify for this license examination shall be the completion of a registered apprenticeship program or equivalent experience and training.
Applicants must submit an application to PSI for pre-approval before testing.
The Business Law exam is also required.
All heating, cooling & sheet metal work licenses expire yearly on August 31.
The holder of this license may perform the installing, servicing and repairing of any gas or oil fired burner and only while in the employ of a contractor licensed for such work. The exam is administered by PSI.
It is 30 questions, multiple choice, open-book with a 1 hour time limit. 70% is required to pass.
The Business Law exam is also required.
American Contractors carries all the reference materials required to prepare for the Connecticut B-4 Limited Gas & Oil Journeyperson. We do not currently offer a seminar.
